We work with 3 different manufacturers of new structural beams and are actively buying all the used beams we can to help bring you the exact pallet racking specs that meet or exceed your needs.
Structural beams are typically used for higher capacity pallets and are accompanied with a bolted connection. This eliminates the need for using safety clips when the bolts are torqued correctly with serrated flange nuts. The serrated flange nuts grab ahold of the steel as they are torqued in place to help create a greater connection point. Another additional bonus to using structural beams is the ability to order them with holes for pallet supports to be bolted straight to the beams (like the used structural beams pictured above). However, structural beams typically come with a greater cost, and there are less of them on the open market as well commanding a higher price for us to buy them used.
